Segregated Escapism, 2021

Danny’s life, as with his art, is a constant journey through discoveries and revelations. Born and raised in West London he moved to Ireland when he was 9 years old. Early explorations saw him trained as a professional chef in Ireland before switching careers to train in the decorative arts. His new skills carried him to Paris where he worked as a scenic artist. It was a natural progression that led him to take a leap of faith and apply his decorative and scenic art training to fine art. He currently resides and paints in London, having recently returned from living in California. He has exhibited his paintings in Europe and in the US. His work continues to explore subject matters that range from autobiographical to daily observations of human frailty and emotions.
